I wasn’t planning to blog, but things happened that needed blogging about. I’m still learning how to do it. The writing part isn’t hard. Writing is what I am all about. I’ve published 23 novels and a nonfiction book, Murder and Mayhem in the Catskills. That idea came from The History Press because the Catskills is where I live.
At Bennington College I majored in drama, minored in Russian, discovered I hadn’t much talent for acting and I’d rather write anyway. I did visit Russia when it was still the Soviet Union. Also traveled with my children in Western Europe, and in the Far East with my husband, a travel agent of Okinawan descent. Our trip there was the first time he got to see the land of his forefathers. Currently I share a home (in the Catskills) with my daughter, son-in-law, grandson, four dogs, and four cats. I am addicted to crossword puzzles and waste too much time on them.

Caroline,
I just heard the dreadful news of Ryo’s passing. I am so sorry. I worked with Ryo for about 6 months and we shared the same office corner. Ryo was a helpful coworker and delightful friend to me. I offer my deepest condolences to you and your family.
